This is a lovely old Deco piece. It is set in a gold tone metal which might be brass but I'm not sure. It has one large Yellow unfoiled stone (1 1/2" oval) surrounded by a beaded frame, with what looks like wings flowing out on each side. The metal has sporadic japanning on it, I guess to give it the patina of age. This brooch is in excellent shape & measures 3 1/4" wide & 2" deep. |
